Reparación de Viviendas El Sur

Plumber and renovations in Guía de Isora

Playa San Juan, Alcalá, Chío, Tejina de Isora and the town. We cover the whole south-west; we tell you a realistic time on the phone before setting off.

Guía de Isora runs from the sea to the mountain and is spread across separate villages, so being honest about timings matters more here than anywhere else: we will not promise to be in Chío in twenty minutes if we are leaving Arona. What we will do is give you a realistic hour, tell you if we are delayed, and put running water first.

Coast (Playa San Juan, Alcalá)residential and holiday property, communities, salt air and hard-worked taps.

Midlands (town, Chío, Tejina)detached houses, smallholdings, tanks, pumps and irrigation. Long buried runs, where a leak can take months to show itself and sends consumption through the roof.

  • Leaks in buried pipework and irrigation on plots and smallholdings.
  • Tanks, pumps and pressure sets: no pressure, a pump that never stops, a tank that empties on its own.
  • Repairs and refurbishment in coastal property, in English, Spanish and Italian.
  • Maintenance of houses used only part of the year.

What changes with the season

In Guía de Isora the classic problem is distance: long buried runs from the tank to the house, or from the tank to the land. A leak halfway along stains nothing and makes no sound; the tank simply empties sooner than it should and the pump starts more often than it ought to.

What we see most. In the midlands — the town, Chío, Tejina — irrigation and supply pipes buried decades ago, sometimes with no plan: we narrow them down section by section, closing valves and watching the meter, then trace the exact point with tracer gas. Pumps and pressure sets working overtime because the tank is losing water: you hear it, and you see it on the electricity bill, before you see it in the water. On the coast — Playa San Juan and Alcalá — the pattern changes: newer property, more communities, and salt air gnawing at taps and fittings again.

If you have a tank, here is a test you can run overnight: mark the level before bed with everything closed and look at it in the morning. If it has dropped, it is not consumption.

Losing water and cannot find where?

With a tank and buried irrigation it happens more than you would think. We trace it without digging up the whole plot.
