Water damage and insurance claims in south Tenerife
We trace the source of the damage, document it with photographs and a written report, and carry out the full repair. For private owners with a claim open, for managing agents and for insurers.

Water has come in and you have opened a claim. What now?
The first job is to stop the damage and document it. We come to the property, stop the problem, trace where the water is coming from and photograph the exact point before repairing anything. That report is what turns a slow file into one that moves: the loss adjuster needs to see the cause, not the stain.
How the process runs
- Containment. Stop the water and prevent the damage from spreading.
- Tracing the cause. Camera and tracer gas where needed. Leak detection
- Photographic report. The point of the leak, the items affected and the scope of the repair.
- Written quote, in the format your insurer needs.
- Repair and making good. Plumbing, tiling, paint: all with us, with no trades to coordinate.
what the policy covers is decided by the insurer, not by us. What we provide is the technical evidence and a repair done properly.
One contact for the whole south
We know what wears you down: the owner who calls at eleven at night, the claim nobody documents and the three firms blaming each other. You get one phone number, 24 h availability, a photographic report for the committee and a written quote per claim. And if the source is in the communal area rather than the flat, we tell you with the evidence in front of you.
- Coverage from Masca to Las Eras, based in Arona.
- 24 h availability for damage containment.
- Non-destructive leak tracing: lower repair cost and fewer days on the file.
- Photographic report and itemised quote.
- Complete repair: plumbing, building work and paint from a single supplier.
- Service in English, Spanish and Italian — useful with non-resident owners.
What to have ready when you call
- Policy number and your insurer's assistance line.
- Photos of the damage and, if visible, of where the water is coming out.
- The date it started, and whether it comes from another flat or a communal area.
Many home policies that cover the building include locating the fault and repairing the section of pipe that caused it, and some also cover leaks without visible damage. Your insurer decides: we tell you what to ask and give you the technical evidence.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work directly with my insurer?
We regularly carry out repairs arising from insurance claims. If your insurer insists on its own contractor, we can still do the leak tracing and the report, which is usually the part that is missing.
Who pays for finding the leak?
Many home policies cover locating water damage — what a British policy calls trace and access — even when repairing the pipe is handled separately. Ask your insurer; we give you the written quote so you can ask with a figure in front of you.
How quickly do you attend?
Emergencies, the same day. For assessing a claim already open, normally within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you provide a report?
Yes, with photographs of the located point and a description of the scope. It is part of the service, not an extra.
What if the damage comes from the flat above?
We document it just the same. The report is what you use to claim against the community or the neighbour's insurer.
