This policy explains how we handle the personal data of people who write to us, call us or hire our services, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. The company is not required to appoint a data protection officer; for any privacy question, write to the address above.

What we hold and where it comes from

  • What you give us when you fill in the form (name, phone, area and the text of your enquiry), call us, message us on WhatsApp or by email, or hire a job.
  • Contract and invoicing data: property address, tax details, amounts and payment method.
  • Photographs and technical reports of the work carried out, where the service requires it or where an insurance claim has to be documented.
  • Browsing data, only if you accept analytics cookies. Without your consent, none is collected.

We do not ask for and do not need special categories of data. Please do not include sensitive information in the form: describing a fault only takes what you can see.

What we use it for, and the legal basis

  • Answering your enquiry and preparing a quotation — basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Carrying out the work, invoicing it and honouring the guarantees that apply — basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Meeting tax, accounting and company-law obligations — basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Handling an insurance claim with your insurer when you ask us to — basis: performance of the contract and, where applicable, your consent to pass details to the insurer.
  • Dealing with complaints and defending our rights — basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Measuring how the website is used (which pages are read, whether contact comes by call or WhatsApp) — basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 22.2 LSSI), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Publishing reviews or photographs of work — basis: your specific consent, always asked for separately and revocable.

We do not take automated decisions and we do not build profiles. We do not use your data to send you advertising unless you have asked for it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become a job: up to one year from the last contact, in case you call again.
  • Customers: for the duration of the relationship and afterwards while liability can still arise, including the guarantee periods for the work.
  • Invoicing and accounting: the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally four and six years, depending on the obligation).
  • Website analytics data: as stated in the cookie policy.
  • Consents: until withdrawn, plus the record of the withdrawal for as long as needed to evidence it.

Who else can see your data

We do not sell or pass data to third parties for commercial purposes. Only those providing services we need have access, under a signed data processing agreement:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Resend, Inc. — sending the email generated by the contact form.
  • Google Ireland Limited — website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Tax and accounting advisers — to meet the company's legal obligations.
  • Insurers and managing agents — only where you ask us to handle or document an insurance claim.
  • Public authorities, courts and law enforcement — where legally required.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of the providers above are US companies. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with any additional safeguards required.

If you message us on WhatsApp, please note that the channel is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and that the processing of message metadata is governed by their own terms, which are outside our control. If you would rather not use it, call us or send an email.

What you can require from us

You may exercise the following rights at any time by writing to info@reparacioneselsur.es, stating which right you are exercising and proving your identity:

  • Access: find out what data of yours we hold.
  • Rectification: correct anything inaccurate.
  • Erasure: ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed.
  • Restriction: ask us to keep it but not use it while a disagreement is resolved.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Portability: receive your data in a commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

We reply within one month. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid · aepd.es). If you live in another EU country, you may also contact your own national supervisory authority.

Security and minors

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: the site is always served over HTTPS, access is limited to those who need it to do the work, and the form collects only what is strictly necessary. No system is infallible; should a breach affect your data, we will act in accordance with articles 33 and 34 GDPR.

This site is not aimed at children under fourteen and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the services, the providers or the applicable law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
